The NSC Work Zone Flagger program is an introductory course that teaches roadway personnel how to provide safe passage of traffic through and around temporary traffic control work zones.


This course is essential for work zone workers required to conduct flagging operations as part of their job and a requirement by the Department of Transportation. Experienced flaggers can also attend this course as a refresher. Participants will learn flagging procedures, do’s and don’ts for flaggers, and how to keep workers safe.
